Delete your Adkemist and Meta-connected data
Last updated: 6 September 2026
You can have the data Adkemist holds about you erased. There are two ways to do it, and they remove different amounts.
1. Disconnect Meta, and keep your account
If you only want us to stop reading your advertising data, disconnect the Meta account. Your Adkemist login and workspace stay, and you can connect an account again later.
There are two places to do it, and either works:
- In Adkemist, under Settings → Integrations.
- In Facebook, under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, by removing Adkemist. Doing it here also tells Meta to send us a deletion request automatically, which we act on without you writing to us.
2. Delete everything
To have your Adkemist account and all connected data erased, email privacy@adkemist.io from the address on your Adkemist account.
Include:
- The email address on your Adkemist account
- The connected Meta ad account ID, if you know it
Sending from the account address is how we know the request is yours. If you cannot, or if anything about the request does not line up, we will ask you to confirm your identity another way before deleting anything. That step protects you: a deletion carried out for the wrong person cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
- Your Adkemist account, name and email address
- Your Meta connection: the access token, your Meta user ID, and the ID of the connected ad account
- Every row of advertising data synced from that account, including campaigns, ads, creatives, daily figures and placement breakdowns
- Everything built from it: decisions, memory entries, alert rules and their history, generated reports, and your Kiro conversations
What does not get deleted
These are the honest limits, not small print.
- Nothing is deleted from Meta. Your campaigns, ads and Meta account are untouched. Adkemist only ever read them, and deleting our copy does not delete yours.
- Shared workspace data. If you share a workspace with colleagues, deleting your account does not delete theirs or the ad accounts they connected. Say so in your email if you want the whole workspace gone.
- A small amount we may have to keep. Where the law requires it, or to resolve a dispute, or to keep a record that a deletion request was made and completed. That record holds a confirmation code and a date. It does not hold your email address or your Meta account ID.
- Backups, for a short while. Our database provider keeps rolling backups. Deleted rows disappear from those as the backups age out, and nothing is restored from them into the live service.
How long it takes
Within 30 days of the request, and normally much sooner. We confirm in writing when it is done.
A request that comes from Meta automatically, because you removed Adkemist from your business integrations, is handled as it arrives, and Meta shows you a link where you can check the status of it.
